Meet Dena —

Dena is an interpersonal psychoanalyst and social worker.

Part of the work of interpersonal psychoanalysis is taking a deep dive into an exploration of your relationships with others. How a person behaves in their relationships can provide great insight into the issues that are making them unhappy. As a result, Dena pays close attention to the dynamics and patterns in her patients’ relationships in an attempt to help them develop a clearer understanding of themselves and any obstacles they are putting in their own path.

Dena is a graduate of Smith College, New York University Silver School of Social Work and the William Alanson White Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. She has had a private practice in New York and Connecticut for over a decade. She specializes in work with people in high pressure, demanding careers, new parents struggling to adjust to their shift in lifestyle and single men and women navigating the online dating scene.
